I frequently muse about the role that grief plays in our lives. Partly because I believe that in our first world environment with our felt sense of control, we have become gifted at blocking or denying the constant losses that would normally be a part of life

ACCEPTABLE REALITY

In conversation with a friend, the question was posed; “why are so many leaders caught in their own deception?” The following conversation set me to thinking how difficult a task it is to extract us from our own self-deception.

“WHAT IS THE PLACE OF SCRIPTURE IN THE COMMUNITY OF FAITH, AT THE OPENING OF THE 21ST CENTURY?”

WE MUST MAKE MUCH OF SCRIPTURE OR WE DON’T HAVE MUCH !
Questions come to mind as I APPROACH THIS CORE SUBJECT AND QUESTION.
• WHY HAS THIS BEEN A CENTRAL ISSUE SINCE THE BEGINNING OF CHRISTIAN INFLUENCE?
• WHY IS THERE A CONSTANT TENSION RAISED AROUND THE INTERPRETATION OF SCRIPTURE?
